Cowboys Love Clear Country Mornings
What a FABULOUS morning!
The early morning sunlight glistened on the dew covered pastures, creating the illusion of acres of sparkling diamonds.
Three newborn baby calves were just beginning their wobbly journey to the nourishment awaiting them from their proud mamas.
As I rode herd over the land, making sure all was well in the cattle empire, a beautiful white tailed doe sprang up from her bedding place. She gave me a passive look, leaped a ditch, then paused at the top of the ridge to watch my actions.
Calme, peaceful, serene.
